The National Festival of Amateur Orchestras
The Prince Takamado Memorial Masters Orchestra Camp
The Toyota Community Concert (TCC)
The Toyota Youth Orchestra Camp (TYOC)
The Federation of Japan Amateur Orchestras Corp
The Toyota Youth Orchestra Camp (TYOC)

That camp is open to youth from 15 to 22 years of age, belonging, or not, to member organizations and its aim is to train and educate the next generation of amateur orchestra players. The camp is held once a year in Spring. In the front line of that camp's activities stands the training and improving of orchestral playing under the guidance of professional musicians. Those camps are organized in 2 year units and the results are then shown in a concert held every other year.
The organization of that camp has received full support from the Toyota Motor Corp., and has been carried out every year since 1985 (Showa era 60). The idea is that participating members can then bring the results of their training back to the areas where they live and share their experiences and knowledge with their fellow members in local orchestras, in this way, multiplying the benefits of their training.
